Elizabeth was born and raised in Cornwall, England. Her father, now deceased, was a Slytherin Wizard while her mother and step-father are both muggles. She grew up with the latter two, as well as her two younger siblings (David and Alyson).
Elizabeth is a very casual woman for her part. She's relatively laid back and tends to see the funny side of things, preferring to live an easy life than to go looking for drama. That being said, this feisty Slytherin won't back down from a confrontation and is fiercely loyal to what she believes in; stubbornness is one of her many drawbacks.
Although she has a strict, authoritative air about her (a deliberate front), Mrs. Devane is actually a very compassionate and protective lady. She likes to act like a superior ghost, wafting in and commanding attention wherever she goes, but realistically she'd have you down at the Hut with cookies and a glass of warm milk in a heartbeat if she saw you crying.
Among the things she values most in this world are her plants - do not abuse them. She's very into Quidditch (Falmouth Falcons) and was a Chaser on the Slytherin Quidditch Team throughout her time at Hogwarts. She's been a Prefect, Head Girl and Co-Captain in her time too, and loves nothing more than to settle into a good book in front of the fireplace.
She married the love of her life, Lilliana Devane, at the age of 27 and has since raised three children with her: Viktor, Vincent and Frankie.
